Cursor Behavior

When you place the cursor on a link, the program displays a hint in the status bar telling you whether the link was retrieved or not. You can choose to have this information near to the cursor. There are three options.

You can turn all three on if you wish.

Script Behavior

• Allow scripts to open new windows: uncheck if you do not want to view popup windows (e.g. advertisments) opened when you visit some websites.
• Allow scripts to open new windows on close: there are websites that open themselves in another window when you try to close them. Uncheck this box only if you have a good reason for doing this.
• Allow scripts to undock, resize, and move browser windows: If a page tries to resize and position itself on a screen, and you have chosen to open browser windows in tabs, you still have an option to view them like they were supposed to be viewed.
• Hide browser toolbars and menus when pages request it: default is on.

Open browser windows in tabs:

Uncheck this option if you want to open browsers in Windows taskbar. By default, browser windows are opened in tabs inside the main window.
